JazzCash has been honored with the Silver Award in the Banking category at the Money20/20 US Awards for the second year running. Following last year’s recognition for digital lending, this year’s award highlights the company’s efforts in bringing insurance to populations previously without cover.
As the only Pakistani company represented in the awards across both years, this marks a milestone for JazzCash and Pakistan’s financial sector.
Reacting to the achievement, JazzCash CEO Murtaza Ali stated:
“Humbled to receive Silver Award on behalf of team JazzCash in the Banking category at the Money20/20 US Awards for the second year running—last year for digital lending, and this year for bringing insurance to those previously without cover.
As the only Pakistani company represented in the awards in both years, this is a particularly proud moment for JazzCash and for Pakistan.
To our customers, thank you for trusting us. To our incredible JazzCash team, thank you for the dedication that makes this possible. And to the Money20/20 team, thank you for recognising our efforts to make financial services more inclusive.
This recognition belongs to everyone helping us turn that ambition into everyday impact.”
